Just remembered how much I love Hi-Fi

I decided to set my Hi-Fi stuff up today...... Nothing amazing but OOOOH it sounds good direct. You forget how nice good Hi-Fi is compared with listening to Mp3's etc from the computer....

Hi both, welcome Dunc!

I like my HiFi as well, no big bucks stuff here but a well seasoned old style Pioneer amp with Tannoy 609's sounds just about right to me!

I've still got my trusty old Yamaha DSP-A590 amp with cheap but nice Eltax front centre and rears, which i use for just about anything audio related.
Not quite audiophile standard but there you go.

I use my mums Pioneer SA-520 amp, it sounds very good. (I am looking out for one myself). I only use it when they've gone out so I can listen to it loud.

Not going to tell you what I have because you'll laugh! I did use all Denon hardware & Tanoy speakers at the radio station though which was good fun!

Tape 2 adaptor!!! you know its going to sound good when it has loads of buttons that don't do anything! Like "Chrome/Fe02", "subsonic 20hz on/off", "dolby stereo", etc. Avv it!

Lee, what are you using???

so that's who got the cd player...as to NAD, I don't know much about them, apart from seeing a nice looking NAD amp that was being totally unappreciated during a presentation a few weeks ago.....
