Why would we want to escape from our beloved land? I can't see the point of a foot ferry. Now if it was a vehicle ferry that would be different. Then again a vehicle ferry into Ilfracombe wouldn't be much use - every time I've been there it's been one long queue from one end to the other.

Can't stand whisky, even the smell of it makes me sick. I'm a sad old Strongbow drinker but can't be bothered tonight. Bloody posh hotel though!!

Snap, ciders always been my drink, not fizzy e mind you, like magners. Strongbow has always been a good one but strangly I like woodpecker in the summer?
I kid you not, my mate has about 4Kl of cider in his barn, just keeps making massive IBC tanks full of it! He has orchards of apples and so do we so they get used for cider, we just can't drink it all! He added so much suger to the first batch that 2 pints of it will give me the staggers, I'm almost 18 stone BTW to give you an idea of dilution!!! Strong stuff, if cider is above 8% it's wine did you know that? We make strong apple wine round ere.
