Well, I'm not posting coz I'm stuck in a Travelodge in Ashford (Kent) with hardly any signal on my mobile access I was supposed to be home today but job was delayed. Off to Isle of Wight next week and then Scotland the week after.

My word Colin you do get about.
Why would you want to slum it in a Travelodge when you have all the home comforts of a Bedford CF Camper?

Hmmmm...then what you need to do is... cut all the useless bits off the CF, like the engine compartment, and make the rest of the CF into a demountable to fit on the transit...

I have considered getting my camper on the road and working away 5 days, trouble is it uses so much gogo juice I doubt I would be better off!

I suppose it would depend on what part of Barnstaple you ended up working in

My Tranny isn't as cheap to run as I expected but that could be down to the way I drive. It's only got 2 speeds, flat out and stopped.

I'm amazed. I'm working on the Isle of Wight this week. They drive on the same side of the road as us, use the same money and speak the same language. It's almost as if I haven't left the UK
